AS A WAY OF SUPPORTING OUR MINISTRY TO SOULS,

PLEASE CONSIDER

FEEDING THE ORATORIANS

WE ARE IN NEED OF MEALS EVERY

MONDAY AND THURSDAY!

For the Oratorians, less time in the kitchen means more time for ministry, and the food your provide allows us to redirect our resources towards ministerial projects and programs. We appreciate it very much!

FAQs

WHY SHOULD I FEED THE ORATORIANS?

By dropping off food for the Oratorians, you enable us to better serve you and the people of Pittsburgh in our role as priests and brothers. The less time we spend cooking, the more time we have for ministry. Your gift of food also helps us to direct our funds toward direct needs in the ministry.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  1. Volunteer for a meal at pghco.org/feedus. You can pick up disposable aluminum pans at the Front Desk during normal business hours, or you can use your own disposable containers.

  2. Cook the meal of your choosing, making enough for eight adult men.

  3. Drop off the food in one of two ways:

    • Hot Food Drop-off. You can drop off the food hot and "ready to eat" anytime between 5:30 and 6:00pm on Thursday evening. There will be a container next to the Oratory front desk that will keep the food hot until we are ready to eat it at 6:20pm, once we finish Evening Prayer.

    • Cold Food Drop-off: If you would rather drop off food in advance, leave it at the front desk during normal business hours 8am-4pm0. We will keep it refrigerated, then heat it up in time for dinner. (Please provide reheating instructions).

WHAT KIND OF FOOD SHOULD I MAKE?

Feel free to make whatever you like! We would appreciate it if you would avoid anything extremely spicy, and it would be helpful if the food reheats well for left-overs.

I AM NOT A GOOD COOK OR I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO COOK, CAN I STILL HELP OUT?

Absolutely! You can donate a Grubhub gift card at pghco.org/feedus.
